Bonobo has announced that he will be returning to London on June 1st for his only headline gig of the year which will take place at Alexandra Palace.
This isn’t the first time that Simon Green AKA Bonobo has played the huge 10,000 capacity London venue, having previously sold it out at the end of the touring cycle for his last record The North Borders in November, 2014.
Two nights at Brixton Academy sold out in minutes in February 2017 and Green is currently in North America playing his biggest shows to date. 2017 has been a massive year for Bonobo, highlights include a killer main stage set at Coachella, whilst back home in the UK, he has cemented his place as a headliner with sets at Wilderness and the BBC 6 Music Festival in Glasgow.
His last album Migration was born out of a period of non-stop touring for almost three years in the Brighton born DJ’s life, during this time he had no fixed address and lived on the road. It’s only fitting that the Migration World Tour finishes in the city that has supported him so substantially in his career to date.
Tickets cost £29.50 and will go on general sale this Friday at 9am. Get tickets for Ally Pally here.
