Bon Jovi add extra Wembley Stadium date to tour
Due to phenomenal demand, Bon Jovi have added another Wembley Stadium date to their 2026 shows.
The recently announced run of concerts marks the first tour by Bon Jovi since frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal surgery in 2022. After a three-and-a-half-year recovery, which threatened to put an end to his career as a live performer, the iconic band are back.
Bon Jovi will begin the tour on home territory with eight shows at Madison Square Garden in July. Then, on August 28th, Bon Jovi will perform in the United Kingdom for the first time since 2019 in Edinburgh, before moving on to Ireland for a date at Croke Park, Dublin, on August 30th.
The series of shows was originally set to close on September 4th at Wembley Stadium in London, with Bon Jovi saving the biggest until last.
Now, the band have added another Wembley Stadium date on September 6th, rocking out on a Sunday night.
Remarking on the tour announcement, the frontman shared, “There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together. I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience – I get to stand in the WE of our concerts.”
He added, “I’ve spoken extensively on my gratitude, but I will say it again, I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited!”
Their recent project, Forever (Legendary Edition), was released last week. The star-studded album included collaborations from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, Carin Leon, and Robbie Williams. General sale for the 2026 shows will take place on October 31st at 9am local time.
