Bombay Bicycle Club share title track of their new album 'Everything Else Has Gone Wrong'

At least some things haven’t changed. At least Bombay Bicycle Club are still churning out some indie bangers to brighten up our murky midweek moods. The band have shared their latest song, ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’ and we’ve made it our Track of the Day.

The song is the title track of the band’s fifth studio album and sees them hit their usual indie heights. It will go down as a classic Bombay Bicycle Club song and is a hint that the band are back to their best following their hiatus after 2014.

The band are seemingly back with a bang and stronger than ever. They’ve kept the same charm, with, intelligence, and glaring appreciation for melody at the heart of their recent releases. From their reunion-debut ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’ to this latest cut, BBC are clearly meaning business.

Frontman Jack Steadman told DIY about the song, “For my whole life, I haven’t been very good at expressing myself with words, the irony is that the song is about not wanting to write lyrics, but it has lyrics I’m really proud of. And after that, we realised a lot of the other songs had that theme, of music as a cathartic refuge.”

It’s a reminder of the band’s talent, a reminder of better days, and a renewal of the power of Bombay Bicycle Club’s unstoppable music.
