Bob Dylan’s iconic acoustic 1963 Martin guitar headed to auction with bidding starting at $300,000 before far surpassing that total.
The historic Martin D-28, which was once owned by Bob Dylan in the ’60s and ’70s and played for well over a decade including his full set at George Harrison’s legendary Concert for Bangladesh in 1971, was being sold by Heritage Auctions.
The eventual winning bid was an astonishing $396,500.00.
It is only the second known Dylan acoustic guitar to go on auction.
