Bob Dylan announces new US tour for 2026
Bob Dylan has once again announced that he is set to tour the US in 2026, marking the fifth consecutive year of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour.
The legendary musician has been continuously on the road for almost the past half a decade, but this is set to continue over the coming months as Dylan returns to his homeland to perform a huge 27-date run of shows early next year.
The leg will kick off on March 21st in Omaha, Nebraska, and will end on May 1st in Albilene, Texas.
Unlike some of the previous legs of the tour, the run of shows will concentrate on coming to smaller towns over the vast stretches of America, shying away from the bigger stadiums and cities that Dylan could ordinarily fill.
The most recent leg of the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour saw Dylan venture over to the UK and Ireland, where he performed a string of shows in Brighton, Swansea, Leeds, Glasgow, and Belfast.
While fans have become accustomed to the phone-free environment of Dylan’s shows, where in exchange he treats them to some of his most obscure and deepest cut tunes, the UK dates offered something often even more special.
Fans across Northern Ireland and Ireland were in for an even greater surprise when Dylan unexpectedly performed a range of covers for them, starting with Van Morrison’s ‘Going Down to Bangor’ in Belfast and then The Pogues’ ‘A Rainy Night in Soho’ in Dublin.
Dylan returns to the United States after he originally kicked off the tour way back on November 2nd, 2021 at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he played almost every song from his latest album Rough and Rowdy Ways, released in 2020.
Tickets for the 2026 US leg of Dylan’s Rough and Rowdy Ways tour go on sale from December 12th, 2025.
