Bob Dylan launches his own whiskey brand, ‘Heaven’s Door’
Bob Dylan has launched his very own line of whiskey with Marc Bushala, delightfully titled ‘Heaven’s Door’. Featuring straight rye, a Tennessee bourbon, and a double barrel whiskey, the Americana icon is doing his best to keep the spirit of American whiskey alive.
“We both wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that, in their own way, tell a story,” Dylan told The New York Times. “I’ve been travelling for decades, and I’ve been able to try some of the best spirits that the world of whiskey has to offer. This is great whiskey.”
Never one to be too straightforward, it has been reported that Bushala, an entrepreneur with his own brand of whiskey, Angel’s Envy, struggled to decipher some of the cryptic tasting notes from Dylan.
After trying the double barrel whiskey, he reportedly told Bushala that something was missing. But in a classic Dylan move said: “It should feel like being in a wood structure.”
