Blink 182 have been forced to postpone yet more shows as concerns about Travis Barker’s health grow.
Barker, Blink 182 drummer, is suffering from blood clots in his arm leading the band to postpone Las Vegas residency as Far Out reported recently.
The band have stated that fans will be refunded and that the shows will be rescheduled for a later date: “Friends, Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in both arms and unfortunately cannot perform until cleared to do so by his medical team. The situation is currently being closely monitored,” the band said.
Barker, 42, added, “Drumming is my life, and it kills me that I can’t perform for you guys this weekend. I hope to be back as soon as I can.”
Now, the band have released a new statement confirming yet more cancellations: “[Barker] has been ordered by his doctors to refrain from any activity that may cause further damage or cause the clots to travel,” they said.
“As it stands now, he will be prevented from playing until the beginning of July when everything will be reevaluated.”
