Today, Bleachers release the music video for “Don’t Take The Money”. The video, which was directed by Lena Dunham, perfectly captures the explosively dynamic, heart-pounding track. “Don’t Take The Money” is the first single off of Bleachers’ highly anticipated second album Gone Now, which is set for release on June 2nd, 2017 and available for pre-order now.
The track is pure-pop. If that isn’t your bag, then Jack Antonoff and his own brand of sugary delight is not for you. Look away. Oh, also look away if you don’t like American sarcasm, because there is a fuck ton of it in this video.
But saying that, the video hits the same notes as the track. Vibrant, irreverent and ultimately pleasing, its charm is in its knowing, sardonic reflection. Take a look below and let us know what you think.
