Billie Eilish has announced a new radio show ‘Me & Dad Radio’ which will be hosted on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio platform. It will feature the popstar sitting down to have chats with her dad, Patrick O’Connell
The six-episode series will begin at 8pm BST this evening and see Eilish sitting down with her father to talk about music and life in lockdown.
Eilish told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in an interview announcing the new series “My dad and I have had this relationship over the years of sharing music with each other.”
“My dad has shown me some of my favorite songs in the world and I’ve shown him songs that he loves and adores also.”
It’s not the first time Eilish has worked with Beats 1 either. In 2018, the singer hosted her show ‘Groupies Have Feelings Too’ but her dad hadn’t.
“Dad had never done it before,” Eilish told the DJ. “Dad was just hyped all around. But it was really fun. I think the best episodes will be later because the first one was our first go at it and I think it’ll get better. I think maybe we blabbed a little too much.”
