With the forthcoming release of Bill Ryder Jones’ new album West Kirkby County Primary on the 6th November it’s about bloody time we had a new track to wrap our ears around. The latest effort ‘Satellites’ is another dip of the toe in to what is promising to be a great new LP.
BRJ says “The song revolves around something my ex-girlfriend said once that helped me in coming to terms with the awful thought I was having. She said ‘something somewhere must be happening’ – that line refers to the particular thought that life wasn’t real for me and that no matter what it is that I felt I was experiencing, the fact that I’m experiencing something means that somewhere there must be something to experience.”
