Cult icon Bill Murray is heading out on a UK tour.
Murray, who is preparing for the release of Wes Anderson’s forthcoming film Isle Of Dogs win which he has a lead role, has announced plans to play a series of musical shows in the UK.
Teaming up with two classical musicians for two nights of live performance and discussion – the shows will take place in London and Edinburgh this June.
“A show that communicates the bridges artists have built between America and Europe. Twain, Hemingway, Whitman, Cooper, Bernstein, Gershwin and Foster are some of the strongest voices that influenced generations of humans in America and gave the world a picture of the charm, energy and creative force of the New World,” an official press release explained.
Murray himself said: “I am bathing in this experience, really. I can’t get enough of it.”
Tickets for ‘Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends: New Worlds’ will go on sale from 10AM on March 29.
