Bill Murray and Adam Driver to star in upcoming Jim Jarmusch zombie film

Jim Jarmusch isn’t a man whose films are tied down to one specific genre and it seems like the man who brought us the heartwarming Paterson and the vampire flick Only Lovers Left Alive is set to dive into the Zombie genre.

According to multiple reports, the upcoming film is a Zombie film and is set to star Blackkklansman Adam Driver alongside Bill Murray. With an ever-expanding cast, Jarmusch’s new feature will include the likes of Selena Gomez, Chloë Sevigny, Tilda Swinton, and Steve Buscemi, all of whom have all been spotted on set in Fleischmanns, New York.

In more good news, Murray who plays a police officer in it labelled the film’s script “hilarious” back in March, said this to Philly: “I’ve got a good job coming up. Brace yourself: It’s a zombie movie. Jim Jarmusch has written a zombie script that’s so hilarious and it has a cast of great actors: Rosie Perez, Daniel Craig. It’s titled The Dead Don’t Die, and it shoots over the summer. But, no, I will not play a zombie.”

Although no release date has been set for ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ so far, Jarmusch has a reputation for taking films to Cannes, so it wouldn’t be surprising in the slightest if that’s where it premiered later this year.
