Big Thief announce charity virtual songwriting workshop

Big Thief have announced that they are set to host a virtual songwriting and creativity workshop later today through the Brooklyn Music Factory.

The charity event is to benefit the mutual-aid project The People’s Bodega with it being open to the public to donate. The show is set to take place at 5:30 EST today and for tickets visit here.

Last week, Big Thief’s founding member Buck Meek shared a gorgeous new single in the form of ‘Roll Back Your Clocks’, which arrives as the first song since the musician’s 2018 self-titled debut LP, on in which Adrienne Lenker and Dave Harrington contributed to.

The song’s content is Meek speaking to his audience with “a reminder to trust our telepathic instincts, and to value the connection with our loved ones as something that we always have access to, even in solitude, regardless of proximity,” the singer told Consequence of Sound.
