Benjamin Keough, Elvis Presley’s grandson and Lisa Marie Presley’s son, has died.
It has been reported that the 27-year-old took his own life from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was found by local authorities in his Calabasas home in California on Sunday,
“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley,” Lisa Marie’s manager confirmed. “She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”
Benjamin, the son of Lisa Marie and musician Danny Keough, was the brother to The Lodge actress Riley Keough and half-brother to Presley’s daughters, Finely and Harper who she had with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
A spokesman for the Police confirmed that they had been called out to a “rescue response” 6:30am Sunday, adding: “Upon their arrival, they located the victim suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso.”
The statement also confirmed: “The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.”
