Leeds four-piece Battle Lines are set to release a brand new track, ‘Hunting’, this April as part of a split 7” single with Post War Glamour Girls through Hide & Seek Records.
Formed in 2012, Battle Lines are a band that brood and swell, channelling the lineage of Kate Bush, Sonic Youth, Slow Dive and Portishead with widescreen, sludgy guitars mixed into disco-influenced synth lines and sequencers, with raw and personal lyrics throughout.
Having performed at SXSW, Reading & Leeds and Beacons Festivals, as well as featured on BBC Radio One and 6Music, ‘Hunting’ marks the Yorkshire group out as a rapidly rising ‘one to watch’ for this year.
