Baftas 2025: full list of presenters revealed
With the latest edition of the Baftas a little over 24 hours away, the most unpredictable awards season race in years means that it’s entirely up in the air who’s going to walk away with the biggest prizes of the night.
However, it has at least been confirmed who’ll be dishing them out, with the organisation unveiling the full roster of presenters, some of whom are in the running for trophies themselves. They hail from all over the world and have been part of some of 2024’s biggest movies – as well as many of 2025’s – and they’ll all be descending upon the Baftas to reward their peers.
Academy Award winners Lupita Nyong’o and Marisa Tomei will be joined by comedy favourites like Simon Pegg and Stephen Merchant, along with esteemed British veterans of stage and screen, including Celia Imrie and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
‘Best Actor’ nominees and Sing Sing and Conclave stars Colman Domingo and Ralph Fiennes will present, as will competing ‘Best Supporting Actress’ nominees Isabella Rossellini, Selena Gomez, and Zoe Saldaña, an interesting one given not only the ongoing Emilia Perez backlash but the latter’s status as the hot favourite following her Golden Globe win in the corresponding category.
Game of Thrones veteran Gwendoline Christie, Star Wars icon Mark Hamill, comeback queen Pamela Anderson, Harry Potter alumni Tom Felton, and ‘Best Original Screenplay’ nominee Jesse Eisenberg are also among those who’ll be taking to the stage, making it an eclectic list of the industry’s great and good.
In an unusual departure from awards season norms, there’s no such thing as a runaway favourite in any major category. The cast and crew members from films including The Brutalist, Anora, The Substance, the aforementioned Emilia Perez, Conclave, and A Complete Unknown all have plenty of reasons to believe they’ll be leaving with a hatful of trophies, even if sure things are thin on the ground.
It’s been a long time since there’s been so much up in the air ahead of the Baftas, which only serves to make things more exciting.
