Arrest warrant issued for woman accused of stalking Yungblud

An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman who has been accused of stalking Yungblud.

In January, the South Yorkshire Magistrates’ Court imposed a five-year stalking protection order against 52-year-old Theresa Foley, who is from Sheffield.

As a result of the protection order, Foley is not legally prohibited from contacting Yungblud or his team, going within a mile of venues where he is performing or making posts about the 28-year-old on social media.

She is alleged to have broken the terms of this order and is accused of turning up outside the queue of his show at Outernet in London on April 3rd.

Foley was due to attend Highbury Corner magistrates on May 18th in relation to the alleged breach of the order, but didn’t show up. As a result, the magistrates have issued a warrant that allows police to arrest her.

According to the BBC, prosecutor Tom Gill told the court of Foley’s alleged behaviour at the London venue in April, “She has a go at people in the queue, then they find out she is not meant to be at this particular concert.”

Gill added, “There is an order in place to protect the artist who was seemingly at this location.”

After Foley allegedly started shouting abuse at Yungblud fans in the queue for the concert, it’s claimed that they placed a traffic cone on her head.

The case was previously set to be heard at the start of this month, but Foley did not attend, sending an email to the court, claiming that she was “in fear” and had contracted Covid-19. She also called upon them to overturn the protection order.

Upon the terms of the arrest warrant, police would be able to keep Foley in custody until she appeared in court.

Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, recently concluded a UK arena tour and is now on the North American leg of his tour.
