With Kasabian’s last full-length record For Crying Out Loud come out over 2 years ago it’s safe to say that their fans have been left waiting for their fix of K. But with Serge Pizzorno confirming a new record is on the way have the band just hinted at a live return too?

With Pizzorno’s announcement, Kasabian fans have likely been preparing their bucket hats and favourite pair of beer goggles waiting for the news of some live dates. Whatever your opinion of Kasabian is, they put on one hell of a show. So you can understand why speculation has been growing about some shows in the near future.

That excitement doubled when this morning the band’s Twitter shared the album artwork for the band’s debut record with “Solstice” written across it. Eagle-eyed fans will remember that Kasabian’s mammoth homecoming Leicester show in 2014 was called ‘Summer Solstice: Live in Leicester’ and so perhaps their could be a Summer 2020 return?

As that still feels a little way off some fans have also been suggesting that perhaps the band are suggesting an earlier return. On December 22nd the Winter Solstice takes place and that feels like it could be one perfect night for a beer-soaked indie bounce fest.

Kasabian, we know what we want for Christmas.
