Arctic Monkeys perform new song ‘Batphone’ live for the first time

Arctic Monkeys perform new song ‘Batphone’ for the first time during a recent performance in Paris.

The show, which was taking place Zénith de Paris last night, saw Arctic Monkeys roll through news songs from their recent album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino as well revisiting their vast back catalogue.

Opening with arguably the lead single from their new record with ‘Four Out of Five’, the Sheffield band smashed into some crowd pleasers with ‘Brianstorm’ and ‘Crying Lightning’ before ending the set with an encore of ‘The View From the Afternoon’, ‘Arabella’ and ‘R U Mine?’.

The evening also saw ‘Batphone’ played live for the first time… and it sounded a bit like this:

Four Out of Five
Crying Lightning
Do I Wanna Know?
She Looks Like Fun
Do Me a Favour
Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?
Knee Socks
Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino
Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair
Pretty Visitors
I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor
One Point Perspective

The View From the Afternoon
R U Mine?
