Anímic release new track ‘Skeletons 2’
Alt-indie outfit Anímic will release their fifth studio album, Hannibal, via BCore Disc this summer and will preview new material with two exclusive UK shows at The Old Blue Last in London on May 2nd and Liverpool Sound City on May 3rd.
Their new single ‘Skeletons 2’ is getting everyone a little bit excited in their home country of Spain.
Resisting the temptation to cash in on early interest, Anímic took themselves off to live together in the small village of Bruc, by the foot of the Montserrat mountains.
This was a period of self-exile during which they fully immersed themselves in their songwriting craft, experimenting with different genres and approaches until they were sure that they had the sound they were looking for.
Apparently, their self-exclusion from the hustle and bustle has given Anímic the time they needed to mature fully and hone their sound. El Pais calls the group “one of the best acts. More than a band, they are a state of mind.”
‘Skeletons 2’ is a perfect example of their talent, introducing their distinct sonic identity that has already started garnering the attention of music fans all over the world.
