Andrew Scott and Daisy Edgar-Jones to star in law thriller ‘A Place in Hell’
Andrew Scott and Daisy Edgar-Jones are set to star in an upcoming law thriller feature called A Place in Hell, helmed by director Chloe Domont.
The movie, which is slated to be produced in conjunction with Media Rights Capital and T-Street, with Leopold Hughes and Ben LeClair, is the follow-up to Domont’s previous directorial effort, Fair Play, which was released on Netflix in 2023.
Similar to the reported criminal law firm setting of A Place in Hell, Fair Play starred Alden Ehrenreich and Phoebe Dynevor, and followed the relationship of a couple as they try to survive a cutthroat hedge fund firm.
Scott and Edgar-Jones will take on the lead roles in the new film, opposite actors Michelle Williams and Danny Huston. Apart from the currently announced quartet, it is not known who else has been cast in the movie, and whether it will land on Netflix yet again, much like the last effort from Domont.
However, Scott will soon appear on the streaming platform in his latest movie Wake Up Dead Man, set to release December 12th, 2025, as the third instalment to the Knives Out franchise starring Daniel Craig in the lead role.
In terms of Edgar-Jones’ latest projects, she last appeared in the romantic drama On Swift Horses alongside Jacob Elordi in September 2024, before which she had branched into blockbusters with the respective releases of Twisters and Where the Crawdads Sing. She is also set to star in the upcoming Netflix film Here Comes the Flood, opposite Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson.
Filming has reportedly begun for A Place in Hell across both New York and New Jersey. Despite this, further details with regards to an expanded casting list and a release date for the film have not yet been revealed publicly.
