New on Amazon Prime May 2021: The best movies and series
We are nearly halfway through the year and the threat of coronavirus still lives on. “When will this end? When can we get back to our normal lives,” we wonder. Sanity hangs loosely by a thread as we try to come to terms with the new normal. However, our good old friends Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime have been more faithful than our exes, keeping us company in these trying times. Every month, these streaming platforms keep updating their streaming database, adding and removing films and series.
No matter how frustrating these months have been, May 2021 seems to have a very promising lineup for Amazon Prime. Ron Howards Angels & Demons starring Tom Hanks, based on Dan Brown’s eponymous novel, is finally coming to the streaming platform and we cannot wait to go on an epic adventure with our favourite symbologist Robert Langdon. Similarly, after being an absolute fan favourite on Netflix for months, Bong Joon-ho’s Snowpiercer is set to stream on Amazon Prime as well.
