Alvvays release new single ‘Archie, Marry Me’
Ever wonder what young love sounds like summed up in three minutes and 16 seconds? Toronto five-piece Alvvays (pronounced Always to clarify) do exactly that with ‘Archie, Marry Me’.
With a lyric infused with aortic sentiment and teamed with beautiful vocals, this track is truly heart-warming.
Alvvays are all about punchy bass lines, infectious guitar rhythms, and mesmerising vocals.
Their tracks ooze summer vibes, not to mention sounding similar to Best Coast or a modern-day Wedding Bell Blues.
That’s the kind of sound we want to hear at this time of year, right?
Their self-titled debut hits the UK on July 21st on Transgressive Records. They have also announced their tour dates for the upcoming season, ranging from London to Brighton.
