Alex Lahey has all your pickle needs covered with ‘Every Day’s The Weekend’ video

Following her EP B-Grade University  Lahey has now announced that she will soon be releasing her debut LP I Love You Like A Brother. Set to be released via Dead Oceans on October 6th, we even have a brand new track to whet our appetite for the upcoming LP.

The track ‘Every Day’s The Weekend’ is a beautiful punch of power-pop which is meant to both rally and hold the hair back of the listener. A call to arms (drinks) and a strict motion to do so with enough vigour to knock the vinegar out of a pickle jar…

Effortless segues aside, the video sees Lahey get fired from a series of ridiculous jobs as she manages to make work look like a lot of fun. She said of the clip “Made with help from Jam Nawaz and Callum Preston | Art and Design– this is my favourite clip to date! See if you can spot cameos from Barry Morgan’s World of Organs, my tour manager Boo and my mum.”
