Alex Lahey announces her debut LP ‘I Love You Like A Brother’

Alex Lahey came out hot on the heel of a one Miss Courtney Barnett, and as Australian singer/songwriter bedroom pop maestros go, that’s a hard act to follow.

However Lahey managed to make her output feel fresh and idiosyncratic enough to warrant the incredible acclaim she received. We, in particular, were massive fans of Lahey and her own brand of spectacular songmanship.

Following her EP B-Grade University  Lahey has now announced that she will soon be releasing her debut LP I Love You Like A Brother. Set to be released via Dead Ocenas on October 6th, we even have a brand new track to whet our appetite for the upcoming LP.

Based on the new song ‘Every Day’s The Weekend’ Lahey has lost none of her incredibly wry lyrics or guitar driven witticisms that were best shown on her recent EP.

Expect pop, expect introspection, expect raunchy riffs. Expect it all because Alex Lahey has got it all up her sleeve.
