Actor Jackson Odell has died aged just 20, his family have confirmed.
Odell, best known for playing the role of Ari Caldwell in TV series ‘The Goldbergs’, was found unresponsive at a home in Tarzana, California on Friday the LA County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
An autopsy has yet to be conducted and the cause of death has not been revealed.
His family released a statement, it reads: “The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul.
“He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately.”
Odell, who was also a singer-songwriter, wrote the soundtrack for the 2018 film Forever My Girl.
