Twiggy Ramirez, the longtime bassist of Marilyn Manson, has been accused of rape.
Jessicka Addams, who is the lead singer of the band Jack Off Jill, claimed that Ramirez (born Jeordie White) became increasingly physical during a time the two were dating in the 1990s when she was just 18 years of age.
Addams has now penned a lengthy statement issued to social media to accuse the Ramirez of rape. In the statement, Addams details that Ramirez visited her friend Pete’s apartment during a tour with Nine Inch Nails: “He forced me on to the floor with his hand around my neck,” she wrote.
“I said NO. I said NO. I said it so loud enough, that Pete came rushing in from the other room to get him off of me. But I had been raped. I had been raped by somebody I thought I loved.”
Addams also explained how she has only now decided to share her story because her record label wants to make it public.
The investigation continues.
