American singer songwriter Alexandra Savior has revealed a video of her collaboration with Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford.

Ford, now plying his trade as a producer, began working with Turner with the Monkey’s before going on to play drums in side project The Last Shadow Puppets alongside Miles Kane.

Back in the studio with yet another collaboration, the duo are working with Alexandra Savior on her new record and has almost seamlessly taken on the influence of Turner’s vocal style, singing above his instantly recognisable chiming guitar lead.

“We were desperate for an upbeat song and indulging in our single lives,” Savior previously told NME.

“It was just us three, a wizard engineer by the name of Michael Harris, and occasionally bassist Zach Dawes. Alex played guitar and some bass because my playing is at an elementary level to say the least, and James played keys and rocked out hard on the drums.

“We’d sit together to try and find precious tones, and for a few of the solos I would sing into a synth or filtered mic and Al or James would mimic the melody.”

Alex TurnerSavior’s upcoming debut album, Belladonna of Sadness, is set to be released on 7 April 2017 and you can listen to new track ‘Shades’ track here:
