On Sunday evening Far Out Magazine made the trip to Nottingham’s Rock City venue to witness two bands of the highest quality.

Opening up the evening was Amen Dunes, a band we’ve championed for a number of months following his release of last years album love

New York based Damon McMahon and his band rolled in and out of classics such as ‘Love’, ‘Lilac In Hand’ and ‘Splits Are Parted’ – more than substantially warming up the Notts crowd ahead of the night’s headline act.

War On Drugs, embarking on another UK tour took to stage full of confidence following their BRITS nomination, we expect. Either that or not giving a fuck, either way we had a photographer there to document it regardless:
