Russian feminist protest punks Pussy Riot are planning to spend eight weeks at London’s Saatchi Gallery an immersive theatre piece.

The work, entitled ‘Inside Pussy Riot’ will tell the tale of Pussy Riot’s “epic ordeal when they were arrested, forced through a flawed judicial system and finally transported to a Russian jail,” according to a statement.

Band member Nadya Tolokonnikova, who was sentenced to two years imprisonment after the performance in Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, co-created the installation and will be taking part in a selection of shows.

“I’m asking for your support in an exciting new project,” says Tolokonnikova in a statement. “The audience will actually get the chance to re-live each one of these experiences themselves in London, learning what it means to be a political opponent in Russia today. We’ll take you on a journey from the cathedral altar deep into the vaults of the Kremlin itself. Hopefully, this is a journey that you’ll only have to make once in your life.”

The band have a Kickstarter campaign in order to raise funds for the show in which you can claim prizes such as a signed book of prison tattoos or a tour of Moscow with Nadya…
