Bestival have announced the first number of artists coming to Dorset for its 2018 festival, with M.I.A. and London Grammar revealed as the first two headliners for this year’s event.

The Rob da Bank-curated festival will return to Dorset’s Lulworth Estate for the second year running in 2018, with the festival saying it will deliver “the most colourful show on Earth”. Tickets for the bash are on sale now.

The first line-up announcement has now been made, with two UK festival exclusive headliners in Sunday headliner M.I.A. and Saturday headliner London Grammar, the headliner of the Friday night is still to be announced.

Other acts set to appear on the Castle Stage over the weekend include. Thundercat, IDLES, Grace Jones, Jimmy Cliff, Plan B, Mura Masa and Sundara Karma.

Jorja Smith and Django Django will perform headline sets on the Big Top with Smith taking to the stage on the opening night on August 2. The Big Top will also welcome Shame, Ratboy, Superfood, Black Honey, We Are Scientists and will see a set from London Astrobeat Orchestra Perform Talking Heads.

Elsewhere on the line-up, Vic Reeves (Yes, from Vic & Bob) will take to the Club Dada stage to perform a reggae DJ set, which is probably another UK festival exclusive.
