Record Store Day is just around the corner and as has become a tradition at this time of year, Jack White and his Third Man Records normally have something pretty special up their sleeves.

This year is no different, after recently revealing that he was the ‘anonymous’ bidder who secretly bagged the first ever vinyl cut by the King at auction, the ex-White Stripe now plans to re-issue it for RSD 2015.

The 10 inch, that features ‘My Happiness’ and ‘That’s When Your Heartaches Begin’ sold for $300,000 and White plans to go to every effort to ensure he recreates the 1953 vinyl with as much authentic detail as possible.
