Indie band Martha from the have pulled out from their supporting gig with Brand New after allegations of sexual misconduct came out against frontman Jesse Lacey earlier this week.

The band’s frontman has been accused by a woman in a detailed admission on a Facebook thread accusing Lacey of sexual misconduct with her when she was only 15.

Martha, who were scheduled to open two of Brand New’s upcoming shows, November 18 at Brixton O2 Academy in London and November 19 at O2 Academy is Glasgow, have pulled out. In a tweet, Martha said, “We have decided to pull out of the brand new shows. Support survivors always.”

Guitar tech for Guns N’ Roses and Fall Out Boy Brian Diaz earlier this week meant to confront Lacey’s alleged inappropriate behaviour, Nicole Elizabeth Garey claims “he solicited nudes from me starting when I was 15 and he was 24.”
