Over there last few months there has been much discussion surrounding the release of Amy, the upcoming feature film about the life of late singer, Amy Winehouse.

With the production packed with never-before-seen footage it’s not surprising that such a level of anticipation has grown.

However, in a move that may have slipped under the radar for some, the BBC has today unveiled another documentary piecing together its own footage from interviews and some rarely seen live performances.

Amy Winehouse In Her Own Words uses live material gathered from Glastonbury, The Mercury Music Prize, Jools Holland and BBC Four’s Jazz and Soul Britannia series’.

In addition, fans also have the opportunity to watch a rare recodring of Stronger Than Me – an acoustic set filmed at Glastonbury 2004 when Winehouse was just 20.
