Arctic Monkeys are steadily ramping up their return and have now officially announced their 2018 European tour dates.

The band, who are busy working on their sixth studio album, were confirmed as headliners for Barcelona’s 2018 Primavera Festival yesterday.

Fans have been waiting for news of a new album for since Alex Turner was photographed reunited in his hometown with his bandmates in December 2016, when he confirmed they had begun work on their next record.

More recently, bassist O’Mally seemingly confirmed that the Monkeys have been in the studio this month and says the new record will be out next year because “if it isn’t, we’ve got problems”.
